The Golden State Warriors have under a week to get a trade done as the February 6 deadline continues to near. Here are a few options they should pursue.

There’s no denying this season has been tough for the Golden State Warriors.

Knowing that at full strength they’d be one of the best teams in the NBA, it’s difficult watching them struggle on a consistent basis. Even with Stephen Curry’s return on the horizon, the Warriors have no chance at the playoffs, a sad reality.

That should change their mindset as the NBA trade deadline nears. Why? Well, because, in all reality, if a player in on an expiring contract, there’s no reason for the Warriors to not look into shopping them.

Veterans like Glenn Robinson III and Alec Burks both fall under that designation, and we’ve proposed a plethora of potential trades for both. That said, we’ll again look at a few trades that the Golden State Warriors must call and actively search for.

Again, why?

Why should the team that’s been to five straight Finals be the aggressor as a seller?

It’s because the draft capital they’d acquire. The Warriors, even after the Cauley-Stein trade, don’t have many second-round picks. Trading Robinson and Burks could bring at least a few of those picks back.

That said, let’s dive into three trades that the Warriors should initiate in the next few days.
