3 Golden State Warriors that have the most to gain from this season
Jordan Poole
The Golden State Warriors’ first-round draft pick Jordan Poole has been excellent for stretches this season.
Yet, at the same time, he’s been so inconsistent that the Warriors have sent him to the team’s G-League affiliate to find his rhythm and hopefully regain his confidence. Well, since his return, Poole is hitting stride.
After a horrific stretch to end January, Jordan Poole is playing much better and finally has shown some confidence in his shot. He’s scored in double figures in his last five games, notching 19 against the Rockets just a few nights ago.
That said, he’s starting to play more effectively, and in order to not be on the hot seat throughout the 2020-2021 season, Poole will need to continue to be a major contributor within the team’s offense.
The 20-year-old, 6-foot-4 shooting guard has struggled with his shot at times this season, but he’s coming around. He’ll need to prove these last 26 games that he has what it takes to play both productively and efficiently.
