Anthony Edwards

While Wiseman may be the best fit for the Warriors, he doesn’t necessarily have the highest ceiling. University of Georgia standout forward Anthony Edwards arguably has a higher ceiling given his athleticism and ability to score at will.

Edwards has been trying to single-handedly career his Bulldogs through the SEC. That hasn’t worked. The Bulldogs wasted the year with one of the top recruits on their team and will likely not make the tournament.

As for Edwards, he’s averaged 19.5 points per game on 40.9% from the field. At 6-foot-5, his ability to create shots while also having elite athleticism will be loved by scouts, but given his percentages, he’s clearly not put it all together yet.

Edwards could be a superstar, but he still has quite a bit of areas to work on before taking his game to the next level.

Edwards could be the top pick, but it’s more likely Wiseman will be if the Warriors are the first team on the clock.
