Damion Lee

Starting off on a two-way contract, Damion Lee has been terrific for the Golden State Warriors. At times, the 27-year-old has felt like the only capable offensive threat on the team, and he was a crucial piece of the Warriors’ Christmas Day victory over the Rockets.

Lee has nearly tripled his points per game from last season. Nearing 13 per game, Lee’s only blemish is that he doesn’t do his work overly efficient. He shooting just over 41% from the field. His 35.6% from deep is more impressive but could still be better.

The Warriors will need Lee this coming season.

A proven scorer, the Warriors, especially last season, have one of the league’s worst bench units. Given how much they invest in their starting lineup, it’s no surprise to hear they struggle to maintain leads.

Stephen Curry’s brother-in-law, Lee should be on the team this coming season. Standing at 6-foot-5, the only question surrounding Lee’s ability to make a living in the NBA is if he can continue to not be a defensive liability.

That could be a big if though.
