2. Less (or more?) ability to scout prospects

Canceling the NCAA tournament and various international leagues around the world will certainly make selecting a lottery pick in the draft much more difficult.

The Warriors’ front office has much less game-time experience to go off when evaluating players.

In theory, this is a disadvantage that the whole league has, not just the Warriors.

On the bright side, with all the downtime, the Warriors will have much more availability to devote to the draft and identifying which prospect will fit their team best, much more time than they had in years past with deep playoffs runs.

Time will tell if the Warriors can gain any advantage from this potential cancellation to sure up their roster in the draft. But, some league executives are pushing back against a draft at it’s normally scheduled time.
