Golden State Warriors trade targets: Giannis Antetokounmpo

The reigning MVP could shape up to be the next star of the Golden State Warriors, if we’re lucky.

While the Bucks will likely finish first in the Eastern Conference, it is unlikely that they will walk away with the NBA championship if the opportunity presents itself. After all, they were in a similar position with a similar team last season.

When will the dominant Giannis Antetokounmpo have his patience tested by Milwaukee’s lack of ultimate success?

Antetokounmpo in conjunction with powerhouse players like Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green could be the perfect recipe for a Golden State Warriors championship team.

During the 2019-2020 season, Antetokounmpo shot 54.7% from the field and averaged 29.6 points per game. The four-time All-Star team member could want out, and if he does the Warriors will be waiting for him with a mega offer.

However, the problem with the bulk of these trades is that it’s a solution for a high-profile player. They’ll have to want out before a team just offloads them, especially players like Giannis, Bradley Beal, and Rudy Gobert.
