The Golden State Warriors have activated offseason mode, and here’s what they must do to have a successful next few months.

With their last 17 games cut off the calendar, the Golden State Warriors are already in the offseason.

While most of the league is set to resume on July 30 with an eight-game season followed by the playoffs, the Warriors will be at home preparing for what should be a dominant 2020-2021 season.

To say the least, they aren’t disappointed by not returning to play as much of the league is at odds over the proposed restart. After going 15-50 and seeing Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry combine for just five games, the Warriors will look to return to Finals contention.

They’ll have the assets to do so with multiple extensions at their disposal, but much of their improvements will depend on whether or not the team wants to foot the lofty bill that could come with said additions.

The Warriors have always done what it takes to win at the highest level, and that will likely be Joe Lacob’s mission once again. That said, let’s dive into a five-step plan for what a successful offseason will look like for Golden State.
