1. Marc Gasol – Buy

Fans of the Golden State Warriors won’t soon forget the impact Marc Gasol had on the 2019 NBA Finals. The Toronto Raptors used him to his max potential – acting as a roadblock for Stephen Curry on pick-and-rolls. Gasol was a driving force behind the Raptors’ defensive efforts and his ability to harras the Dubs helped win a championship for Toronto.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have that defensive anchor playing for the Warriors next time around?

Gasol is only getting older but he clearly has some gas left in the tank. His humongous frame is a great deterrent in the paint and he is remarkably light on his feet – able to defend the perimeter at a respectable standard.

Not only that, but Gasol is also a strong passer. He would thrive in the Golden State Warriors system – creating plays for the Splash Brothers and especially finding Andrew Wiggins on cuts to the rim.

As we mentioned, Gasol is aging and doesn’t have much time left to compete. There is no telling what the market will be like for him entering free agency due to the pandemic. This sets the Dubs’ up nicely to offer him a $6 million dollar deal with their MLE.
