1. Philadelphia 76ers

This is the big one. We know that Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid will more than likely be split at some point. This is a great chance for the Warriors to pounce on a deal.

The 76ers have looked lost all season. Even before Simmons suffered his injury, the team performed well below expectations and problems between the All-Star guard and Embiid only continued to swell. To keep it simple, the two just aren’t compatible with each other.

This leaves the door open for trade. One that might be the best package the 76ers can get for Simmons. Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole instantly address the Sixers need for shot creators while the 2nd pick in the draft and a future first rounder from Minnesota gives them even more opportunity to round out their lineup.

As for the Warriors, Simmons is a match made in heaven. Many might think a player with limited shooting ability such as Simmons might be a nightmare. However, putting the ball in Simmon’s hands and spacing the floor with shooters will help them reak havoc on the rest of the league.

Simmons is an All-NBA level defender and one of the best passers in the game. His size and athleticism make him a great rim runner for his position and he would absolutely thrive with the Splash Brothers running alongside him. To top it all off, Simmons is only 24 years old. This is a deal the Warriors HAVE to pursue.
