The Golden State Warriors officially have the No. 2 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. Here are five teams that should target the Dubs’ pick in trade talks.

It was a breathtaking NBA Draft Lottery for several franchises, but the two winners were certainly the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves. There were also several losers of the lottery as well.

The two teams that made the 2020 trade deadline’s blockbuster deal will respectively be picking No. 2 and No. 1. That is if both teams end up using their pick.

For the Warriors, they’ll likely consider trading the pick, and there are several reasons why they should pull the trigger on such a deal.

Still in NBA Finals contention with two-time MVP Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green on the roster, getting them the help they need this offseason should be the team’s No. 1 priority.

With a $17.2 million trade exception, the mid-level exception, the Timberwolves 2021 first-round pick, and the No. 2 overall pick in this upcoming draft at their disposal, the option will be endless for Golden State.

That said, let’s dive into five teams that should engage with Golden State about trading that coveted No. 2 overall pick.
