Giannis Antetokounmpo

This is it. This is the trade that every Warriors’ fan wants to dream of.

But, the problem is — no Warriors’ fan wants to give up Klay Thompson. Giannis is likely going to be the league’s MVP again this season. A two-time MVP that arguably hasn’t even hit his prime is no cheap target.

Klay Thompson, Eric Paschall, or Jordan Poole, the No. 2 overall pick, the Wolves 2021 first-round pick, and even another first-round pick may be what it takes. Giannis is averaging 29.5 points, 13.6 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game.

Along with over a three, steal and block per game as well, the 25-year-old has continued to elevate his game. If the Bucks drop their second-round matchup, the heat could be coming to Milwaukee’s front office.

If Giannis wants out and really only then, this trade could be possible. Given his dominance, he’ll have to want out, and then Golden State can come with this mega-blockbuster offer. It’s possible and, while unlikely, could be a deal both sides may find beneficial for the future.
