Klay Thompson

Let’s start this off with the Warriors would only even dream of trading Klay Thompson if it were to bring in Giannis Antetokounmpo. This is also quite the debate among Warrior fans if they’d even do it then.

Thompson is a five-time All-Star. He’s proven to be the perfect complement to Stephen Curry.

He’s a top-tier defender and one of the best shooters to ever play in the NBA. A lottery pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, Thomas has shot over 40% from downtown in every season since he was drafted almost a decade ago.

Thompson, even after he tore his ACL in the 2019 NBA Finals, was signed to a max contract in the offseason. Deservingly so, Thompson should bounce back 100% as he’s already been getting shots up.

But, for Giannis, anything is possible, and the Warriors need to realize Curry may be the only player untouchable this offseason given their lofty expectations of building a championship roster once again.

The Warriors want to rule over the NBA again next season, and all four of these players, along with just about anyone not named Stephen Curry, may be traded.
