An overall win-win

Warriors acquire: Jrue Holiday, 13th overall pick

Pelicans acquire: Andrew Wiggins, 2nd overall pick, Eric Paschall

This deal is similar to the last but gives the Warriors a bit more. In theory, you add Eric Paschall and the 13th overall pick. The Warriors may love Paschall, but it would give the Pelicans another capable, up-and-coming player.

Building a future of their own, Golden State, who have seemingly been interested in several prospects that may be available late in the lottery, could get a high-potential player like Tyrese Maxey.

While Paschall has a bright future, he may not have the ceiling of even Alen Smailagić. He’s the better player now, but his long-term outlook may not be the best. The Warriors are also loaded at power forward.

Adding a late-lottery pick along with Holiday would give the Warriors a pick they could still use while also adding that defensive mastermind. It seems like a win-win deal as long as the Warriors would be willing to part with Paschall.
