No. 4
Bucks receive: 2021 first-round pick (MIN), 2023 first-round pick, 2025 first-round pick, 2024 and 2026 pick swaps, and Andrew Wiggins
Warriors receive: Giannis Antetokounmpo
Now, let’s craft a deal that takes out James Wiseman.
Wiseman is a stud, but he may not be the perfect fit for Milwaukee. Keeping the No. 2 overall pick instead of coupling it in a trade was always going to lower the trade value as Wiseman may not be the type of player other teams want.
Assuming the Bucks, who have Brook Lopez, don’t want Wiseman, give them something they do want — long-term draft capital.
The Warriors may be good for a long time, but many teams bank on that not being the case when trading for picks and pick swaps. Five years from now, the Warriors pick could be in the top three. A 2026 pick swap could help further the case.
The Big 3 will all be past 35 then, and the picks could have value. Does that mean it’s enough to add Giannis? Probably not, but three first-round picks and two pick swaps along with Wiggins could be enough to at least push the conversation.
