3. Troy Daniels

Troy Daniels first made noise at the NBA level when he entered the Houston Rocket’s playoff run with a bang by drilling a go-ahead shot over the Portland Trail Blazers. Since then, he has been a 3-point specialist on six different franchises.

The Golden State Warriors have space on the bench for a player of Daniels’ expertise. Brad Wanamaker and Jordan Poole have yet to build any consistency from deep, so having Daniels for depth purposes could be helpful throughout the season.

In his most recent stint in Denver, Daniels shot only 6-of-20 from deep, not exactly an encouraging sign. However, he is a near 40 percent shooter for his career, so we can hope that he would look better in an established role with Golden State.

At the worst, the Warriors would have an extra player they can throw out there when nothing else is working.
