The Golden State Warriors are in the middle of a home stretch and will be playing the Clippers, Raptors, and Pacers in four games.

The Golden State Warriors‘ upcoming home games are very important for this team and can shine a light on if it is legit or not. Golden State had a tough start to their season by playing two of the Eastern Conferences top teams in the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets. Of course, both games ended in blowout fashion, with the Warriors on the wrong end.

After winning four of their last five games, Golden State is starting to get it together and playing much better than at the beginning of the season. Obviously, two of their wins were at the level of weaker opponents in the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons, but a win is a win nonetheless. Their next game against Portland was terrible, as the Warriors looked horrendous in a near 30 point loss.

However, the next game was also against the Trail Blazers, and we all know how that went. The most outstanding player in the history of the Golden State Warriors franchise exploded for 62. That set a career-high for Stephen Curry and a high for the Chase Center. These next few games are crucial, as they are against good teams, which would really show how good Golden State is.

While the Warriors are playing the first of these four games right now against the Clippers, they will also play them again on Friday.

Against the Clippers in the first matchup, Paul George may be out, making it that much easier to get an edge on Los Angeles. This Wednesday, on ESPN, they will need to win. If not, this season may be a victim of another lost year of Stephen Curry’s career. In these two games with the Clippers, expect to see plenty of defense on both sides. Patrick Beverly will try to get into Curr’s head, and they will likely throw double teams at him all night.

The third game is against the Raptors, a team that was in the finals two years ago and deep in the playoffs just last season. However, they are off to a rocky start this year, with a 1-5 record. With their offensive struggles as of late, the Warriors may be able to get this one and improve their record by a win.

On Tuesday, the Warriors play the Indiana Pacers in the last game of their homestand. The Pacers are a team that is currently on fire, winning five of their previous seven. Domantas Sabonis, the 24-year-old big man from Gonzaga, is averaging 20 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assist on the season. This game may be the toughest of the four, as Indiana matches up well with Golden State.

Prediction Over this Home Stand

I think the Warriors win the first game against LA, they are coming off of two huge games, against Portland and Sacramento, and will be hot on Wednesday night. The second of the two games against the Clippers may end in a loss. LA will be able to gameplan better in a second meeting, and will likely have Paul George.

The Warriors will take the game against the Toronto, or should I say Tampa Bay, Raptors, in a big one. Golden State should win this one relatively big due to the struggles of the Raptors. In the last game against Indiana, the pacers will likely win due to the matchup problems Golden State will have.

Record in This Homestand:

2-2
