Golden State Warriors’ trade scenario No. 4

Both Lonzo Ball and JJ Reddick are rumored to be available – so how can the Golden State Warriors walk away with both?

This deal is a bit harder to work out. With both Reddick and Ball on moderately sized contracts, it will take a combination of players (and maybe picks) to satisfy everyone’s needs. But, I think the trio of Jordan Poole, Kelly Oubre and Kevon Looney should get it done.

Oubre is a young forward who can compliment the Pelicans’ current core well. He plays defense and attacks the basket at a high-rate. Most of all, the Pels are desperate for depth at the center position and Looney is a reliable big to fill that gap. Throw in a shooter and playmaker such as Poole and this is a solid deal for New Orleans.

Meanwhile, the Dubs benefit from gaining the marksmanship of Reddick and the defensive prowess of Ball. The Dubs don’t give up anything too valuable here but gain two meaningful rotation players.
