Cousins recently had his contract fully guaranteed by the Houston Rockets – only for the franchise to announce they will be cutting him soon. This was a classy move from Houston who decided to do right by Cousins before potentially ending his season. This is because of rampant injuries that have derailed the big man’s career. He has suffered a ruptured Achilles and torn ACL in recent years. Both of these injuries typically mark the end of a center’s time in the NBA, but Cousins has prevailed.
The Golden State Warriors have every reason to pursue DeMarcus Cousins after he is bought out by the Houston Rockets.
