Kelly Oubre Jr.

Next up on the list is the player that many are surprised is still a Warrior. Kelly Oubre Jr. has been a valuable part of this team, and there’s no denying that Bob Myers is going to want to keep him around for the long-term future.

The energy and defensive tenacity that he brings on a nightly basis isn’t matched by many players around the league, but his scoring and, more importantly, his efficiency has slipped, especially in the last few games.

Oubre Jr. came off a season with the Suns last year in which he averaged a career-high 18.7 points per game. That’s slipped down to 15.2 per game despite the opportunity bring there for the 6-foot-7 25-year-old.

With Curry out of the lineup, Oubre Jr. is averaging under 15 points per game. He’s still at 14.6 though, so the drop off isn’t that intense. What is discouraging is that he’s shooting under 43 percent from the field and 32 percent from deep over the last five games.

He must be better for this team to not go 1-4 over their next five games.
