We all know Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are the Splash Bros, but what would happen if the real Curry brothers teamed up on the Golden State Warriors? How can Seth Curry actually help the Dubs next season?

The biological splash bros have never been on the same NBA team. That is why the Golden State Warriors should unite Seth and Stephen Curry.

Going after Seth would be more than just fan service. The younger Curry has actually been balling lately and just had the best season of his career. Acting as a starter for the Philadelphia 76ers, Curry posted 12.5 points per game and nearly joined his brother as a member of the 50/40/90 club. On the season, Seth shot 46/45/89 from the floor.

Seth has blossomed into a lite version of his older brother. He’s an elite shooter, drilling over 100 total 3-pointers on the fifth-best percentage of anyone to attempt 200 or more. He’s also a quality playmaker, dishing close to three assists per game on relatively low usage.

It is obvious how Curry would help improve the Warriors’ second unit as a scoring threat. However, how would the Warriors acquire Seth? He’s under contract until 2023 and is making $8 million a year until then.

One potential solution is a sign-and-trade involving Kelly Oubre. This sends a versatile wing to the 76ers and helps the Warriors unite the two brothers. This feels like a win-win, except for the fact that Philly would have to include another player to match salary.

Because of this complication, it feels unlikely the Warriors would be able to trade for Curry. The reality is, they might have to wait until 2023 to have a chance to make this pairing happen. At that point, the idea may not be as enticing.

Nonetheless, it would be a blast to watch the Curry brothers run alongside each other. Both have had incredible NBA stories and it would just feel right to see them on the same team, battling for championships together.
