The Golden State Warriors will have to do their due diligence in the 2021 NBA Draft. That means monitoring every single prospect and any potential trades that can help maximize their growth this offseason. This process will include examining a player who should be near the top of their wish list, Davion Mitchell.

The Golden State Warriors should be looking at Davion Mitchell in the 2021 NBA Draft as a backup guard who can raise their ceiling immediately.

It is easy to predict who the first four picks will be in the upcoming draft. Forego all of the rumors, I would be stunned if the Detroit Pistons didn’t select Cade Cunnigham first overall. After that, I’d feel safe betting my money on Jalen Green, Evan Mobley and Jalen Suggs being the next three picks (in any order).

Why is that? Well, let’s take a look at the pros of drafting Mitchell. After, we’ll analyze the potential limitations that come with Mitchell’s game.
