Golden State Warriors’ Klay Thompson bridge: Damion Lee

One of the more likely Golden State Warriors to take the spot in Thompson’s absence is Damion Lee.

Like with Mulder, Lee went from averaging over 12 points per game to just 6.5 per game this past season. Similar to Mulder as well, Lee has maintained his stay in the league because of his shooting.

Sadly, due to health and safety protocols, he missed most of the Warriors’ last couple of weeks. Lee still put up solid shooting numbers on the season though, averaging 1.4 threes per game. He shot 39.7 percent from deep, so the efficiency was there.

Lee has size and experience on Mulder, having played in the league for four years. He stands 6-foot-5 as well which helps despite his lacking defensive aptitude.

Oddly enough though, Curry and Lee have the exact same amount of minutes as Curry and Mulder, 387. Curry and Lee have a better 8.4 net rating than the other duo. Regardless, there’s still reason to think Mulder is the better option.
