Golden State Warriors can trade for Bogdan Bogdanovic

The goal of this article wasn’t to include any notable names from the Golden State Warriors. However, I’d like to take a brief detour to analyze how swapping Andrew Wiggins for Bodgan Bogdanovic and one more asset from the Atlanta Hawks could be a win-win.

As we’ve gone over, the Warriors are lacking offensive firepower in their second unit. While Andrew Wiggins is a skilled creator who also offers incredibly valuable defense on the perimeter — there is a scenario in which flipping Wiggins for Bogdanovic and (let’s say any one of Solomon Hill, Cam Reddish, Deandre Hunter or Kevin Huerter) would benefit both sides.

Atlanta receives a versatile defender and athletic scorer to pair with Trae Young. Meanwhile, the Dubs get a more potent shooter in Bogdanovic who averaged 16.4 points on a blistering 43.8 percent shooting clip last season. The addition of another wing defender from Atlanta makes this an interesting deal for Golden State.

To reiterate the point of this article, we are looking at smaller deals that could be made later in the season. Specifically, at the deadline. If February comes and the Warriors are seeing the same struggles they did last season of not having enough scoring around Stephen Curry — this is one deal that would make sense for them.
