If there is one thing to be excited about this season for the Golden State Warriors, it is all the whacky, creative lineups they can toss out onto the court.

With so many new and unique players, the Golden State Warriors have a plethora of options for how they approach each game this season.

The Warriors were busy this summer. Though they did not make a major splash with any blockbuster trades or homerun free agency signings — the moves they did make were all sound enough to build one of the league’s most unique lineups.

Golden State Warriors additions:

  • Andre Iguodala
  • Otto Porter Jr.
  • Nemanja Bjelica
  • Avery Bradley
  • Jonathan Kuminga
  • Moses Moody

This collection of talent joins an already sound pool of rotational players in Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, James Wiseman, Kevon Looney, Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins(?), Juan Toscano-Anderson and Damion Lee.

Steve Kerr will have fun experimenting with all of these players as they can mix and match in so many different ways. For the sake of building a Frankenstein lineup of your own, here is a breakdown of what each whacky depth chart could look like.

Warriors’ 3-point shooting lineup:

  • Stephen Curry
  • Klay Thompson/ Jordan Poole
  • Moses Moody / Otto Porter Jr.
  • Andrew Wiggins / Nemanja Bjelica
  • James Wiseman / Draymond Green

Led by the greatest shooter of all time, this bunch of 3-point snipers could go toe-to-toe with any competitors in the NBA. With the added depth of Poole, Porter and Bjelica to account for any individual shooting slumps — the Dubs will be an elite 3-point shooting team.

Warriors’ defensive lineup

  • Stephen Curry / Avery Bradley
  • Klay Thompson / Moses Moody
  • Andrew Wiggins / Otto Porter Jr.
  • Andre Iguodala / Jonathan Kuminga
  • Draymond Green/ Jonathan Kuminga
  • James Wiseman / Kevon Looney

If it comes down to getting a few stops in a crucial moment of the game, this lineup is going to be tough to score on. The perimeter skills of Thompson, Wiggins and Iguodala would mean trouble for opponents. And, the defensive minds of Iggy and Green make this a smooth sailing ship. Lastly, Wiseman acts as a prolific rim protector to piece it all together.

Warriors’ run-and-gun, versatility lineup

  • Stephen Curry
  • Klay Thompson / Jordan Poole
  • Andrew Wiggins / Andre Iguodala
  • Jonathan Kuminga / Draymond Green
  • Draymond Green / James Wiseman

The Warriors are going to benefit greatly from having so many players who can handle the ball and create shots for others. We all know what the big three is capable of, but tossing in a great secondary scorer in Wiggins — and a potential superstar in the hulking Kuminga — could mean a new and improved death lineup.

Overall, the Dubs have more tools at their disposal than they’ve had in years. This season is sure to be a fun one. Let us know what lineups you can not wait to see!
