The Golden State Warriors are long past the days of hoping for good lottery luck. This season, the Dubs are back on the path to a title and earning the top spot in the NBA is on their to-do list entering the New Year.

Earning the best record in the NBA does not come easy. Here are three pivotal games on the horizon for the Golden State Warriors.

Right now, Golden State holds a 26-6 record, putting them just behind the 26-5 Phoenix Suns.

Their challenges to the throne don’t stop there, however, in addition to numerous obstacles such as rising COVID-19 cases and the (joyous) problem of figuring out how to ease Klay Thompson back into the fray — the Dubs also have a few difficult games approaching.
