2 Golden State Warriors that would thrive as NFL players

The Golden State Warriors will be just taking the court while their Bay Area professional sports companions, the San Francisco 49ers, will just be getting off the field following a postseason game with the Dallas Cowboys.

Golden State has several players on their team that, while extremely talented at basketball, could very well be premier two-sport athletes. However, players like James Wiseman likely would be too big to be elite elsewhere.

The San Francisco 49ers play in Wild Card weekend, and had some Warriors taken a different career route, they might have made it on the field with them.

The Warriors have a terrific team this season, and they’ve downed some of the league’s best teams. Having beaten the Bulls, Jazz, Suns, Nets, and many other high-caliber teams, the Warriors have proven that they’re among the best of the best.

They no longer have the best record in the NBA as they’ve slipped up the last couple of games, losing to Milwaukee and Memphis. That said, while the Warriors will be on the court, most televisions will be on the 49ers then the Chiefs.

With that mind, let’s dive into two Warriors’ players that would have thrived in the NFL.
