Well, last night was a bit of a disaster. I picked the Warriors to beat the Jazz, short-handed and all, and they promptly got destroyed. The good news is that Steph Curry got plenty of rest for tonight’s game!
The Warriors should be able to get back on track with their full lineup against a Knicks team that has been just horrible. New York has failed to cover the spread in four straight is just 2-10 in their last dozen games. They have the 23rd-ranked net rating in that span with the 2nd-worst offensive rating in the league. That’s bad news against the Warriors, who have the NBA’s best defensive rating on the season.
The Knicks have been terrible on the road, as well. They’re 0-5 against the spread (ATS) in their last five road games and haven’t won away from New York in nearly a month. To make matters worse, they’re just 9-17 ATS as an underdog.
Meanwhile, Golden State is 17-10-2 ATS at home and will be itching to get the foul taste of last night’s blowout rinsed from their mouth.
