Warriors’ James Wiseman to Brooklyn Nets Round 1

The Warriors have interest in Kevin Durant, as does half the league.

While it’s unlikely a trade occurs with all the storylines already headlining about Durant and his legacy, there is reason to believe it would be the best trade on the table for Brooklyn, who really shouldn’t care where Durant wants to go.

The Warriors have first-round picks in the arsenal and three former lottery picks at their disposal. Again, if you think, why would the Warriors give up so much?

Instead, think, the Warriors could almost automatically win three more titles and potentially cement Stephen Curry as one of the greatest champions in league history. That could be worth it for Golden State.

Durant averaged 29.9 points per game last season. The former MVP has already spent time with the Big 3, so the fit is there. For the Nets this makes sense, but it doesn’t seem like a move the Warriors would heavily consider.
