Seth Curry admits what is motivating him and Stephen to return to the Warriors

This would at least make for a nice moment...

All season long, Golden State Warriors fans have been waiting for the game when both Stephen Curry and his brother Seth Curry could be healthy and on the court with each other. Apparently the brothers are thinking about it too, with Seth revealing in a recent press conference that it's a big motivating factor for both of them.

"Wanna get out there with him at least one time and experience that and put on a show for the fans… I know that’s one of his motivating factors for getting out there. To see us out there on the court together, but no pressure," the younger Curry said.

Warriors could finally get dream pairing if injury timelines align

Unfortunately both Curry brothers have been banged up for most of the season. Seth has been limited to just six games this season as he deals with various ailments. It's a shame because he has been quite solid when he has been on the floor for Golden State.

He's made 50% of his threes and is shooting 57.7% from the field so he is doing what the Warriors brought him in to do which is be a sharpshooter, but unfortunately injuries have just really limited his availability.

The same can be said for his older brother. The star point guard has been out for over two months with a knee issue. The good news, depending on who you ask, is that he is aiming to return to the Warriors this Sunday so we may get to see him in action for the first time since the end of January.

More cautious fans would prefer that Steph sit the rest of the season out, with the Warriors destined for a Play-In spot and not deep or healthy enough to make a playoff run even if they won two Play-In games.

The Curry brothers do not seem to be wired that way though and Steph has made clear that if he's healthy enough to play, he's going to.

The competitor and entertainer in him has to want to get back out there one more time this season. He's 38-years-old now so he doesn't know how many more times he will get to step out onto the court as an elite player. This season suggests he can keep playing at a high level for a while, but his health is now the biggest concern.

One hopes this wouldn't be his last hurrah, but sport is a fickle thing and when you least expect it, you can be done. Despite all this, it will be cool to finally see the Curry brothers together if they can make it happen. Warriors fans are owed a nice, feel-good story like that after how grueling this injury-plagued season has been at times.
