The Golden State Warriors will have a chance to avenge an earlier loss when they play the Houston Rockets on Friday night.

Having only lost six times in the first 42 games of the season, there aren’t many teams that can say they have beaten the Golden State Warriors. The Houston Rockets are the rare exception to that list. The two teams met in Oakland earlier in the year and the Rockets came away with a thrilling double-overtime victory. They will do battle again on Friday night.

If anyone wants to see the two starting guards for the Western Conference in the NBA All-Star Game do battle on Friday night, the game can be seen on ESPN. There will also be a live stream option to watch Stephen Curry and James Harden online via the WatchESPN app. Here’s all the information you will need about watching the two Western Conference foes online. Details for Friday night are below.

These two teams have met in the playoffs the last two seasons and it could very well once again be a preview of a Western Conference Finals between these two teams. Mike D’Antoni has really changed the future outlook of the Rockets and they might be the one team that can keep up with Houston on offense.

More from Warriors News

With this being another game on national television, it will be a real test for the Warriors in a week of tests. They’ve knocked off the Cavaliers and Thunder already this week and the Rockets will be their next test.

The Warriors don’t want Houston being able to get another one against them and feeding into a narrative that they may not be the best team in the Western Conference. Expect Golden State to come out with a sense of urgency and try to outpace Houston.

Draymond Green has almost created a feud for himself with the Rockets. Between the leg kick earlier this season with James Harden and the scrappy play in the playoffs last year, this is a game where Green is going to have to put together a big performance defensively.

Kevin Durant was the other Warrior announced as a starter in the All-Star Game. He has plenty of history facing the Rockets in his career and he has been on a roll lately. His 40 points against the Thunder came in efficient fashion.

There aren’t many games on the schedule going forward that have quite the implications that this one does. The Rockets feel they can hang with the Warriors and the latter wants to prove that they’re just a stepping stone en route to another championship.
