Here are three mega bold, hot take-ish Golden State Warriors predictions for the rest of the season.

The Golden State Warriors are 47-9. They’ve tied their loss total from last year and, yet, they might be even better. According to Basketball Reference, they have the best offensive team and the second best defensive team in the league.

After signing Kevin Durant, the team knew that it would be a process. While they had the best team on paper, they had to actually build chemistry. You can’t expect immediate perfection after such significant changes.

The Warriors’ biggest goal is to build. They want to keep adding something new everyday until they find rotations and sets that work for them. The goal is to peak in June.

Golden State isn’t chasing a wins record. They aren’t even chasing individual awards, outside of Draymond Green and the Defensive Player of the Year award. They’re chasing a Larry O’Brien trophy.

The Warriors have been up and down over the first part of the season. They’ve done great things, like effortlessly blow the Cleveland Cavaliers out and secure the league’s top record thus far. They’ve also done horrible things, like collapse against the Memphis Grizzlies and get blown out by the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Warriors are spectacular a large majority of the time. They have four All-Stars. an MVP candidate in Durant, and another top three player in the world in Steph Curry. The pieces are all there.

Thus far, Golden State has been pretty special. There’s room for improvement and, of course, there’s always the potential for the incredible.

There are predictions, there are bold predictions, and then there are these mega bold predictions. Here’s three of them right here.
