Even after missing the entire 2012-13 season, Rose is still one of the best point guards in the NBA. He is the definition of an elite athlete.

Having already won the MVP (the youngest ever to do that, mind you), Rose just needs a few deep playoff runs under his belt and he could rise to the top of this list.

While we still are awaiting his “RETURN,” other young guys, like Curry and Westbrook, have jumped up this list, but Rose has already proven so much on the court, that even missing an entire year didn’t diminish his value too much. He is explosive, and when his shot is falling, he’s essentially unstoppable because you can’t crowd him, and if you give him space, you had better pray his jumper doesn’t drop.

Rose is one of the best players in the game, and here’s to hoping we get to see him on opening night in fall of 2013.
