1: Golden State Warriors vs. Houston Rockets at Oracle Arena on October 17th

It’s ring night at Oracle!

The Warriors will get their first look at the new-look Houston Rockets on opening night as they get to raise their championship banner and receive their rings from NBA commissioner Adam Silver.

Chris Paul is now a Houston Rocket playing alongside one of the most gifted offensive players in the game in James Harden. The Warriors get to see how those two ball-dominant guards mesh together.

Expect the game to go up and down at a rapid pace due to both teams’ style of play. This game will give us an idea of how the Warriors are able to block out distractions with the receiving of their rings and play their style of ball and man movement.

It will give fans and analysts ideas of how the Warriors could defend the Rockets starting backcourt with their plethora of versatile defenders and how the Rockets can defend the Warriors with Trevor Ariza and newcomer P.J. Tucker.

Although, it’s the first game of the season, it will give us certain sets that the Rockets can run against the Warriors possibly in the playoffs and how the Warriors can defend those sets.

In an expected high octane affair between two of the fastest teams in the league, the team who makes the most defensive stops will probably come out on top on ring night at Oracle Arena.
