2. The CP3 effect

First of all, why did Daryl Morey even go out and get a point god like CP3 when moving James Harden to the 1-spot was looking like one of the best basketball decisions of the decade?

Jokes aside — the CP3/Curry matchup was already fun to watch, so seeing the Harden/Thompson matchup simultaneous is bound to be a treat. I’m not exactly sure who on the Rockets is going to guard Kevin Durant (or defend in general), but they’ll probably figure that out in a year or five.

Regardless, I’m expecting the Mike D’Antoni-Chris Paul-James Harden trifecta to be rather entertaining to watch and, in some cases, possibly troublesome for the Warriors some where down the road.
