Klay Thompson: B

Klay Thompson’s first round averages: 22.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists on 52.6 percent shooting overall, 51.6 percent shooting from behind the arc and 100 percent shooting from the free throw line.

Most guys would probably earn an “A” grade for those numbers, but I’d be remiss not to mention Thompson’s Game 4 slip-up.

Klay started the series with a 27-point performance, following it up with a huge 31-point Game 2. He posted just 19 points in Game 3, but he kept his shooting numbers up, going 8-of-16.

Then he completely disappeared in Game 4, posting just 12 points on 25.0 percent shooting. Without him to help carry the scoring load, the Warriors expectedly lost that game, extending the series for an unnecessary Game 5.

Take away that Game 4, Thompson gets an “A” for the first round.
