David West: C

David West was a rock for the Warriors in the first round, standing his ground when everything else around him seemed to go wrong. He didn’t make any big plays, but he didn’t do anything poorly, either.

At the end of it all, he averaged 5.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 16.0 minutes, shooting 63.2 percent from the field and 100 percent from the free throw line.

West plays an important role in Golden State’s rotation, playing both the backup forward spot and the backup center spot. With Pachulia basically unplayable this series, West stepped up against his former team, providing the Warriors with some much-needed stability when they needed it most.

Possibly his most significant contribution to the Warriors in the first round: his health. Considering his role on the team, it’s pivotal West remains healthy throughout the postseason. Despite suffering what looked to be a pretty serious ankle tweak in Game 2, West came back into the game and remained healthy throughout the series.
