Golden State Warriors: Comparing each player to an Avenger

Klay Thompson: Hawkeye

If there’s one Avengers comparison in this slideshow that I stand by wholeheartedly, it’s this one. It’s perfect. Klay Thompson IS Hawkeye.

He’ll never be the main guy on the Warriors, but he’s proven to be a capable supportive character that has somehow become a necessity.

He may be a bit one-dimensional (yes, I know he’s good on the defensive end, as well, but for the sake of the argument), but you know that one thing he does?

He does it spectacularly well.

When everything is on the line, you can always count on Klay — or Hawkeye — to hit their mark. He may be a bit unappreciated at times, but real fans know just how important he is to the makeup of the team.
