Golden State Warriors: Comparing each player to an Avenger
Kevon Looney: Black Widow
Black Widow has come up big in nearly every Marvel movie she’s been in, pulling off some kind of big plot action to help turn the tide.
In Iron Man 2, she’s the one that had to break into Hammer Industries. In The Avengers, she’s the one that closed the portal. She infiltrates HYDRA in Winter Soldier, she changes sides in the middle of Civil War — hell, she controls the Hulk!
But just as the Black Widow has an uncanny ability to shift momentum, Kevon Looney almost always does something significant enough to change the course of the game. He’s just always in the right place at the right time, and he just always somehow knows what to do.
And like the Widow, Looney’s very much one of the “glue guys” on the team, holding the team together regardless of whom he’s on the court with at that particular time. He doesn’t have a snazzy superpower, but his versatility allows him to seamlessly fit into any situation.
