Zaza Pachulia: Drax the Destroyer

TELL ME YOU DIDN’T SEE THIS ONE COMING!

While my previous picks may have been arguable, there’s no doubt that Zaza Pachulia is Golden State’s equivalent to the Guardians’ Drax the Destroyer.

I mean think about it: Drax is very much the brute of the Guardians, just as dangerous to his own team than to those who oppose him. Hellbent to avenge his family, Drax was perfectly fine with calling Ronan the Accuser to Knowhere, where the Gamora and Star-Lord nearly die.

Zaza, hellbent on winning the game, has been involved in not just ONE injury to ONE former MVP on the Warriors, but he also indirectly caused another injury to Golden State’s only other former MVP.

Nevertheless, there’s no denying he’s a necessary piece to have on the team. A bruiser that’s normally tasked with wearing out opposing bigs, he acts as Golden State’s enforcer — much like Drax does with the Guardians.
