Golden State Warriors: 8 things to worry about vs. Rockets in WCF
Home Court
Worry Level: Low
As mentioned prior, the Golden State Warriors will be going into the Western Conference Finals against the first-seeded Houston Rockets, which means the Dubs will be going into a postseason round without home court advantage.
While you’d expect this to be a bit worrisome, the one and only team in the league that I could ever fully trust to come out of this scenario victorious just so happens to be the blue and gold.
Plus there’s the fact that the Toyota Center has looked awfully empty compared to previous years, which probably has to do with the fact that ownership has been incredibly greedy.
While the Rockets fanbase may be my least favorite fanbase in all of sports, I have to admit I feel for them. I’ve constantly seen fans from Houston complain of being priced out, and it doesn’t help that tickets for Warriors v. Rockets are already considered to be the most expensive conference finals tickets this decade.
As a Warriors fan, I certainly know the heartache of going on your phone to find tickets, only to figure out that buying one would result in burying you in even more debt. On the flip side of that coin, however, I’m not mad at the fact this could end up working in Golden State’s favor.
