Golden State Warriors: 8 things to worry about vs. Rockets in WCF
The Threes
Worry Level: Moderate
If someone had predicted the Golden State Warriors would be shooting 32.8 percent from behind the arc before the Western Conference Finals, I most definitely wouldn’t have believed it.

Furthermore, had that same someone told me Kevin Durant‘s three-point shooting percentage would drop from 41.9 in the regular season to 27.9 in the playoffs, believe me when I say I’d be the first person to tell him or her that he or she doesn’t know anything about basketball.
I’m honestly unsure whether this trend will continue. Who knows? Maybe KD just ain’t got the legs for it at this point in the playoffs.
The fact of that matter is KD’s long range shooting ability is part of what makes him so dangerous, and he simply hasn’t shown any consistently from beyond 20 feet.
As for the Rockets, they’re shooting at a subpar 35.3 percent from three, but they’re also averaging a league-high 39.9 three-point attempts. For the sake of comparison, the Warriors — everyone’s favorite jump-shooting team — currently average 29.8 three-point attempts.
