Albeit the Golden State Warriors signed DeMarcus Cousins earlier this offseason, they could still use a few additions in order to bolster their second unit.

The Golden State Warriors might have the league’s best starting lineup, but their depth could improve. That said, who else is left on the open market for them to sign?

All around, this offseason has been crazy. LeBron James left the Eastern Conference for the first time in his career, Kawhi Leonard was traded to the East, and the Warriors Western Conference foes the Houston Rockets were able to acquire former NBA scoring champion, Carmelo Anthony.

Each of those has a certain impact on the Dubs, but none of them were strong enough to dethrone the Dubs as the projected 2019 champs. Although earlier season projections don’t mean too much, the Warriors have backed it up over the last few seasons, winning their second consecutive championship last season.

Unlike in 2015, the 2018 Warriors were not known for their strength in numbers, as in depth. They played Jordan Bell, Keyvon Looney, Nick Young and Quinn Cook off the bench with Andre Iguodala occasionally helping out the second unit.

That unit is far from spectacular. It could use some help, and while Cousins’ addition will shift Iggy into a more permanent second unit role, the Dubs could certainly continue to improve by signing an impactful free agent.

That said, let’s get into three free agents they should consider signing.
