Sign gifted scorer Jamal Crawford

While rumors have been floating around of Jamal Crawford to Philadelphia, nothing is set in stone, and a guarantee of a ring is almost as good as money when it comes to Crawford. Golden State can offer what no other team can.

More from Blue Man Hoop

Crawford, one of the league’s all-time great sixth men, has averaged double figures for the last sixteen seasons. That’s incredible. His durability has been something to marvel at, and now, a free agent, it’s time for him to get a ring.

Spending last season with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Crawford’s season ended after a first-round exit to the Houston Rockets. That was Crawford’s eighth postseason trip, and he’s still without a ring.

Golden State, unlike Philly, gives him a likely chance to get a ring. According to Basketball-Reference, Crawford, who might be one of the league’s most respected players, has a zero percent chance to enter the Hall of Fame. One or two rings might help that likelihood.

Moving forward, Crawford needs to be selfish with his decision making, and if he wants to be a core member of a team, then Philly might be the better call. However, Golden State is the move if it’s about rings and success.
