Klay Thompson

Curry’s faithful teammate and splash brother Klay Thompson is second on our list. The 28-year-old that many fear could leave the Bay next season was drafted with the 11th pick of the 2011 NBA Draft.

Thompson, a player which has never been truly impacted by injuries, also started to peak around his fourth season in the league. Thompson hit the 20 points per game threshold that season and hasn’t looked back, hitting 20+ point per game in four consecutive seasons.

Last season was also Thompson’s fourth straight all-star appearance. He averaged exactly 20 points per game and hit 3.1 threes per game, the fourth straight season he’s also connected on at least three triples per game.

Needless to say, Thompson’s been a pivotal piece of the Warriors rise to the top.

The SoCal native, Thompson has been rumored to be one of the Los Angeles Lakers main 2019 offseason targets. However, the elite two-way player hasn’t commented outside of saying he ‘wants to be a Warrior for life‘ which is quite the reassuring statement.

That said, his situation is certainly one to keep an eye on, but if the Dubs are willing to give Thompson enough to stay, he certainly seems on board with the idea.
