A league in the feels

The frustration with Golden State that has been stored within for five seasons has produced some glorious reactions from those within the league.

Bucher’s article quotes an Eastern Conference executive claiming that Curry’s shimmies and his mouthguard dangling from his mouth has inspired this anger towards the team.

More from Warriors News

Steph Curry has shimmied his way to the top of the NBA’s public enemy list, and now that the squad is depleted and the previously infallible Warriors continue to stumble, Curry’s hand fracture has robbed these players of their retribution.

By the time he returns, and Bucher suggests that he may not play again this season, the vulnerability will have noticeably diminished.

Until then, the Dubs will be beaten quite regularly this season. They will also be crushed on a few occasions as they already have been. But they will also sometimes beat teams like the Trailblazers on Monday and will cause headaches for fans who desperately want to see the Warriors go 0-82.

The takeaway from the beginning of this season is clear: the Warriors did, in fact, cause a lot of hurt across the league, and every dynasty does end. This squad, however, does not represent the end of this dynasty, and when the core returns to full health, it could very well be a different story to what will take place this season.

Steph and Klay will be healthy, Draymond will have that chip on his shoulder, D’Angelo Russell will either grow into his role or be traded for valuable assets, the current youth will have developed, and they will be joined by a possible top draft pick.

Maybe then, the Warriors could go on another run, and wouldn’t that be a horrible thing to happen for the rest of the league…
