Andrew Wiggins

Small forward Andrew Wiggins is coming off his best game as a Golden State Warrior. Wiggins is on a horrible contract and only a handful of teams may be willing to take it off their hands. For Golden State, that may be okay.

After sending point guard D’Angelo Russell to Minnesota and returning Wiggins and a high-value pick, the Warriors are likely stuck. However, if Wiggins’ play goes from bad to worst, there are ways he could be dealt, especially in the offseason.

He has a ton of time to change things, and after keeping the Warriors in the game against Detriot, Wiggins is slowly starting to prove his worth. What must really improve is his efficiency. Wiggins is shooting under 37 percent from the field.

Wiggins is averaging over 17 points per game. He’s notched at least 20 points per game in three of his six seasons. He also nearing 43 percent from deep.

The upside is there for the former No. 1 overall pick, but if the Warriors need to open up the cap to add more serviceable players or another star like Bradley Beal, Wiggins may be one that finds his way elsewhere.
