Blake Griffin

Alright, just for this one, let’s dial back the term superstar. Blake Griffin was that once upon a time.

Even just two seasons ago, he was an All-Star and averaged 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game. He has the capability and athleticism to be one of the best forwards in the league.

While he’s not the player he once was, he’s improved his three-point shooting tremendously. The versatile forward is having his skill set cut short in the Motor City, and with Jerami Grant there, the Pistons might as well have a changing of the guard.

While Griffin, averaging under 14 points per game this season, clearly isn’t the most ideal target, he would be the cheapest, and he’d give the Warriors a solid small-ball five.

The team still doesn’t trust James Wiseman down the stretch. Add in a veteran Griffin that has upside as a scorer and has defenders like Wiggins and Green also in the frontcourt, and the team should be in a very good position moving forward.
