Golden State Warriors positives: Eric Paschall Sixth Man

There is no question that Eric Paschall has emerged as an early Sixth Man of the Year candidate. The All-Rookie is embracing his role with the second unit and acting as one of the Golden State Warriors’ most reliable scorers.

Paschall had a strong rookie season, using his Draymond Green like build to bully opponents in the paint and score on drives to the hoop. Even so, many had doubts that Paschall would be able to replicate his rookie season with heavier expectations and a smaller role.

So far, Paschall hasn’t disappointed. He is averaging 12.3 points on 53.4 percent shooting. He has been instant offense off the bench and the reason Golden State has managed to remain competitive at times with Curry getting some rest.

Paschall matched his season-high with 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting in the Dubs’ most recent win over the Lakers. At 24 years of age, the future is bright for Paschall.
