5 trades the Golden State Warriors should consider before 2021 deadline
The Bradley Beal deal
The Golden State Warriors aren’t going to be acquiring Wizards’ shooting guard Bradley Beal. For every team in playoff contention, it’s a dream to snag the superstar, and the Warriors should be no different.
However, this may not come to the price that it takes. Now, the team should 100 go after the superstar that is currently averaging the most points in the NBA if he’s available for something around this price.
The Warriors, in this trade, would get a veteran center that is playing solid basketball. RoLo and Looney in the frontcourt is enough, especially when you have the league’s two best scorers in the backcourt.
Beal is averaging 32.8 points per game. He’s elevated his game to yet another astronomical level, and with several years left on his contract, trying to trade for the former top-five pick is a smart move.
But, the cost can’t exceed this. Beal may be a Paul George and Anthony Davis-like star, but the Warriors should shy away from tossing ten pick swaps to Washington.
