3 players the Golden State Warriors need to make a move on soon
PJ Tucker
Although he didn’t play last night, PJ Tucker has the most games played in the NBA since 2012. He’s an ironman, and much like Draymond Green, Tucker makes it a priority to be on the court as often as he can.
Tucker is a 3-and-D specialist. They initially brought him in to be the perfect running mate for James Harden. Tucker would oftentimes guard the best forward on the other team, setting the tone defense.
Offensively, he’d typically find himself open in the corner. Tucker is a solid three-point shooter. While he’s averaging just 32.9 percent from deep this season, he’s consistently, for the past three seasons, hit over 35 percent of his triples.
The best part about Tucker is that he wouldn’t cost much and his contract fits under the DPE. The Warriors aren’t going to be giving up that 2021 Minnesota first-round pick for anyone other than a Bradley Beal-like player.
Tucker is the perfect median for a player that would have an impact in Golden State and not cost much.
